I love the country. . . and I love the city. I love the beach. . . and I love the concrete. It's hard for me to say which "state of mind" I prefer more, so I won't pick. Instead, I'll savor the good things that each place represents, documented here at Bake. Build. Sow.
This blog is more than a documentation of life living between the hustle of the city and the solitude of the country, however. It's where I'll capture what inspires me on a day-to-day basis, and those daily inspirations get boiled down the most simple things. . . a solid cup of coffee . . . a pecan sticky bun drowned in melted brown sugar. . . a walk in the woods. . . a road trip down south - or north - okay anywhere. . . finding a rough, old thrift store chair and fixing it up. . . digging in the dirt and nurturing a plant to life. . . and snapping pics of just about anything in my path.
